Why For / Purpose / Objective:
Catholic Syrian Bank provides education loans for financial support to cover the tuition fee, expense of books, refundable deposits, travel expenses and other necessary costs of education. You can apply for a maximum amount of Rs 7.5 lacs and Rs 15 lacs for studying in India and abroad respectively.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum ages 21 years having 60% marks throughout and have admission approval.
- Maximum Amount for India : Rs 500000.
- Maximum Amount Overseas: Rs 500000.
Rate of Interest
India: Upto Rs 200000 ……………. 14% pa
Above Rs 200000 ……………16% pa.
Overseas: Upto Rs 200000 ………………..14% pa
Above Rs 200000……………….16% pa.
Collateral needed if loan is above Rs 25000. Third Party Guarantee is also required.
Repayment/Tenures:
Maximum after 3 months of completion of course or the date of joining of job which ever earlier
